Payment Conditions

A non-refundable initial payment is required to secure the cake booking and order date.
The full payment is then required 1 week before the collection/delivery of the cake.
Payment
Payment can be made via bank transfer.
Cancellations:
If a cancellation takes place, we reserve the right to retain 50% of the initial payment. If cancellation takes place within 1 week prior to the order date the full value of the initial payment will be retained to cover the costs of production of the cake.
For postponed events we will always, where possible, endeavour to transfer your order booking to a different date.
Design Conditions
Alterations and Changes
It is your responsibility to read & check order form details are correct. If requested we will always try to accommodate any design changes, however this may not always be possible depending on the amount of notice given.
Any cake ordered from a picture or photo, can only be reproduced as an interpretation of the cake and will not be an exact reproduction of the cake in the photo.
Allergies & Dietary requirements:
Please discuss with us if you have any special dietary requirements.
Please be aware that although ingredients can be removed from cakes, we still use them within our kitchen so we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are completely free of all traces. Orders cannot be processed without confirmation of allergies.
Non Edible Items
Some cakes, depending on design, contain inedible items – it is the clients responsibility to ensure these are removed before consumptions eg. Support dowels, ribbons, toppers etc. Any such items will be clearly detailed on the cake packaging.
Delivery and Collection Conditions:
Delivery charges are calculated on a mileage and time basis. Alternatively, cakes can be collected from Swanmore, SO32 2FN.
Once the cake has left our care, we will not be held liable for any damage to the cake. Please always refer to our advice provided for transporting and storing your particular cake or order.
To ensure maximum freshness we recommend that cakes are collected/delivered the afternoon before or the morning of the event.
Storage and Consumption
Your cake is baked to ensure it is fresh for the date given for your event. After this date. We advise storing the cake within airtight containers or freezing in individual portion sizes otherwise we cannot guarantee quality if consumed more than 48 hours after the event. Our cakes are made with fresh natural ingredients so will not have the extended shelf life of supermarket cakes.
Sugar paste cakes should not be refrigerated as this will cause condensation to form on the icing.
Refrigeration can also compromise the quality of a sponge cake so should only be used with extreme caution, eg. During severe hot weather that may affect the quality of the cake such as those with chocolate decorations.
Thank you for using our services,
